How
to become a Member
The
I.F.R has thousands of members world wide. Membership is made up
of:
- Individual
members
- Overseas
members
- Schools
and Colleges
Membership of
the I.F.R is open to practitioners of reflexology who have trained
on I.F.R accredited courses or who have satisfied the I.F.R that
their training and practical skills meet the required standard.
Full members are entitled to use the designated letters M.I.F.R
after their names and must be fully insured to practice on the public.
Associate members may use the letters A.M.I.F.R.
How
do I get membership of IFR if my training does not meet your standards?
Whatever your
training, you will be assured of a warm welcome from the IFR. We
will try to help you achieve your aims and never make you feel less
of a therapist. There has never been a more important time to consider
your professional status than right now. You have worked hard for
your qualification; now let us work hard for you. As a member of
the IFR all your professional needs will be catered for.

Overseas
Membership
The I.F.R has a distinguished reputation internationally and is
constantly breaking new ground abroad. Each overseas country has
its own national I.F.R office which operates under the umbrella

Schools
and Colleges
The I.F.R has a number of associate Schools and Colleges who run
its accredited courses. These educational establishments remain
in close contact with the I.F.R at all stages of the educational
process, from course development and accreditation through teaching
and examination to final qualification of the student. This area
is continuing to develop and the I.F.R continues to work hard at
local and national level, contributing to the monitoring and standardisation
of a reflexology curriculum at certificate, diploma and degree level.
